Lola's equipment

Her glasses

Lola wears a pair of glasses made in Germany, expressly for sledge dogs, Lola used her glases expecially for protecting her eyes from wind, insects or everything which can represent a danger during the bike running; these special glasses represent an accessory necessary for Lola’s health. Lola has got two kind of glasses: a shielding light-blue lenses pair (suitable for sunny weather and highest mountains) and a transparent lenses one (to be used in the evening or at night, in conditions of light lacking); this last pair made expressly for Lola. Lola was trained to accept wearing these glasses, and most of all to bring them during the motor-bike running; when she was a puppy, she combined them with the pleasure to go on motor-bike and with the possibility to lean safety from the windscreen to feel the wind on her snout (without being shouted by the driver).

Her helmet

The type wore by Lola, is not a real helmet, but a human under helmet fitted to her measures. This helmet is aimed to protect Lola’s ears from gusts of wind or chills: the cocker has got pendulous and delicate ears: this helmet keeps the dogs’ ears perfect adherent to her body and avoids the effect of “flying ears” which could cause painful otitis. Lola has got different helmet types: the one made of silk to be used in summertime and the other made of heavy cotton to be used in wintertime.
